"RESHAPING MY NOSE BROUGHT ME THE CONFIDENCE I WAS MISSING."
Typically referred to as a “nose job,” rhinoplasty is a custom surgery performed for cosmetic or medical reasons. It alters the nasal structure to create a more attractive balance. If you struggle with any of the following issues, you may be a good candidate for this custom nose reshaping surgery:

There are a couple of different techniques Dr. Tseng uses for rhinoplasty in Kirkland and Bellevue. He will recommend the best method based on your medical needs and aesthetic goals.
This technique provides the greatest visibility and access for the surgeon. It requires an incision at the base of the nose, on the strip of tissue between the nostrils, the columella. The surgical scar is extremely small and will be camouflaged by your nose structure once healed. Open rhinoplasty is performed under general anesthesia.
The incisions are placed only within the nostrils, so there are no external scars created. Additionally, the procedure and the recovery period are faster than with open rhinoplasty. The surgery may involve either IV (intravenous) or general anesthesia.
In Kirkland and Bellevue rhinoplasty is an outpatient procedure, which usually takes between two and four hours to complete. It is performed under anesthesia, so you will not feel any pain during the procedure. Plan for another person to transport you home, as you will be unable to drive after being under anesthesia and will be groggy.
Following a rhinoplasty Kirkland patients feel well enough to resume work about a week after surgery, but recovery time will vary. You may need a little longer downtime if your duties are more physically strenuous. You can expect swelling and bruising in the early phase of healing. The most discomfort occurs in the first few days, and you will have prescription medication to keep you comfortable. Protect your nose from any impact and take the time to rest and heal.
You will begin to see the first improvements in your nose appearance within the first few weeks as your nose heals. It will take a few months for the swelling to recede completely, at which time your nose tissues will have settled into place, and the newly balanced look is achieved.
